Spain and its islands

Spain and its islands have captured my heart over many visits – I simply can’t stay away! Living in Toulouse means Spain is practically my backyard, and I take full advantage of this proximity whenever possible. I fell completely in love with Barcelona’s unique blend of Gothic and modernist architecture, while the diverse islands of Mallorca, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria offer perfect escapes from French life.

I’ve spent countless summer afternoons swimming in Mallorca’s hidden coves, hiking through Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes, and lounging on Gran Canaria’s golden beaches. The Costa Brava has revealed some of Spain’s most stunning coastlines, with whitewashed villages and secluded beaches nestled between dramatic cliffs. From seafood paella enjoyed with ocean views to creamy crema catalana for dessert, each quick trip across the border from Toulouse unveils new flavors and experiences that keep me coming back for more.
